The Kinks : Hatred

Tek bir şarkıdan bahsetmek istiyorum. Hayranı olduğum İngiliz müzik ekolünün 60'lı yıllardan bu yana (1996'da resmen dağılmışlardı ama 2008 sonuna doğru tekrar biraraya gelme ihtimalinden bahsetmiş grup üyeleri) varlığını sürdüren başarılı rock grubu The Kinks'in Hatred'ı. Kinks Britpop olarak adlandırılan ve 90'lı yıllarda tavan yaparak günümüzde de etkisini sürdüren modern İngiliz müzik akımını en çok besleyen gruplardan birisi sayılır yaptıkları müzikle.

10 yıl öncesinin Radyo Eksen'i olarak sınıflandırabileceğimiz Kent FM'i (efsane radyo kanallarından birisidir benim için, hatta Radyo Eksen'in çıkış zamanları ile Kent'in son zamanları çakışmıştı da ben yine de hep Keent'i tercih etmiştim) sayesinde tanışmıştım bu şarkıyla. Aklımın bir köşesine not ettiğim bu şarkıyı gelişen paylaşım altyapısı sonrasında biraz geç de olsa geçtiğimiz aylarda arşivime ekleme şansım oldu. Şarkı çok sesliliği, sert ve güçlü vokali, enerjik yapısının yanı sıra ilginç ve çarpıcı sözleriyle de dikkatimi çekmişti. The Kinks'in ön planda olmayan bu şarkıyı siz arkadaşlarımın da keşfetmesini isterim.

İlk paragrafı dikkate almayacak olursak aklıma hemen evrensel çağrışımlar geliyor. Günlük yaşamdaki bir çok alanın yanı sıra bence politikaya da rahatlıkla uyarlanabilecek bu sözler (ne de olsa artık politik partiler sahip oldukları görüşleri ön plana çıkartmak ve çözümler üreterek siyaset yapmak yerine yandaşlarını genelde yarattıkları sözde ortak düşmana karşı tetikte tutmak üzerine oynuyorlar) benim aklıma ayrıca Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray ilişkisini de getirdi (ama mizahi yönden bakmanızı rica ederim, politika göndermesi gibi ciddiye almayın).
